About the Role
Based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, the Airport Services Duty Supervisor will oversee daily airport operations, coordinate service providers and support the safe, secure and on-time handling of Qatar Airways flights while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day airport operations during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate airport service providers to ensure operational standards are met.
- Monitor flight handling activities to support safe and punctual operations.
- Lead and support frontline teams to achieve service excellence.
- Conduct operational checks and ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.
- Manage customer service issues and support service recovery when required.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational matters.
- Support disruption management and emergency response activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the station.

About You

- Experience within an airline, airport or ground handling environment.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lead teams and make sound operational decisions.
- Good knowledge of airport operations and safety requirements.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work shifts and under operational pressure.
- Must currently have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
