About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 6 nurse to join our Airways Respiratory Specialist Team.
- Job Opportunity: This role is perfect for those with respiratory experience who are looking to broaden their skills and expertise in specialist respiratory care.
- Role Focus: Management and care of patients with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and asthma.
Key Responsibilities
- Autonomous Practitioner: As a specialist CNS, you will act as an autonomous practitioner, supported by the Airways/ILD Lead.
- Patient Care: Deliver expert care to both inpatients and outpatients throughout their treatment journey.
- Clinical Support: Provide clinical support, education, and psychological guidance, ensuring patients receive holistic and patient-centred care.
- Tobacco Dependency Services: Promote tobacco dependency services across the Trust, working closely with Tobacco Dependency Advisors.
- Main Point of Contact: Provide expert guidance, signposting to appropriate services, and liaise effectively with other healthcare professionals (HCPs) as necessary to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
