A2B Aero and A2B Heli Charters are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and experienced Airworthiness Engineer to join our expanding Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO).

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking and rapidly evolving aviation business, working with a diverse fleet of helicopter types and a broad customer base. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering the highest standards of continuing airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

As a key member of our Airworthiness Department, you will work closely with the Continuing Airworthiness Manager and wider technical team to provide day-to-day airworthiness support across multiple helicopter types and customer operations.

The role will involve:

  • Managing continuing airworthiness activities in compliance with Part CAMO and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting maintenance planning and maintenance tracking activities.
  • Maintaining accurate and efficient technical records and electronic maintenance systems.
  • Liaising with the UK CAA, EASA, Isle of Man Aircraft Registry, 2-REG and other National Aviation Authorities as required.
  • Supporting airworthiness reviews, audits, regulatory compliance activities, and customer requirements.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes within a growing organisation.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within an Airworthiness, CAMO, Technical Records or Continuing Airworthiness environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Part CAMO / Part M
    • Part 145
    • Part 21
    • Aviation Safety Management principles
    • Electronic maintenance tracking systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive, proactive and professional approach to airworthiness management.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing operational environment.
  • Strong digital literacy and confidence working with databases and maintenance tracking software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team supporting multiple operating bases.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in an Engineering-related discipline, or Equivalent.
  • EASA/UK Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence. (Not mandatory)
  • Current Human Factors and Safety Management training. (Recurrent Training will be given)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of:
    • Leonardo AW139
    • Leonardo AW109
  • Experience with Airbus Helicopter products would be advantageous.
