Platform Consultant / Management Consultant – Aladdin
Location: London (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Wealth & Asset Management | Type: Permanent
Drive transformation across the world's leading investment management platform, helping clients maximize the value of BlackRock Aladdin through strategic business and technology change.
The Role
We are expanding our Wealth & Asset Management capability and are seeking experienced Aladdin Consultants to support growing client demand across strategic platform transformation programmes. This role is focused on helping leading asset managers, wealth managers, and financial institutions maximize the value of BlackRock's Aladdin platform across front, middle, and back-office operations.
You'll work with clients to deliver large-scale Aladdin implementations, enhancements, integrations, and operating model transformations, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the delivery lifecycle. Experience with complementary platforms such as Charles River, SimCorp, Avaloq, Temenos, or FNZ is beneficial, but Aladdin expertise will be your core differentiator.
As AI continues to reshape financial services, you'll be expected to embrace AI-enabled ways of working, using approved AI and automation tools to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, improve delivery quality, and support better client outcomes, while always applying human judgement and responsible AI practices. You'll also help clients identify opportunities to embed AI-enabled capabilities into future platform strategies and operating models where appropriate, supporting innovation while maintaining robust governance and oversight.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support Aladdin implementation, integration, upgrade, and optimization programmes, leveraging approved AI-enabled tools where appropriate to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
- Partner with investment, operations, and technology teams to optimize Aladdin workflows, operating models, and platform capabilities, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through AI-enabled solutions.
- Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and technical requirements across Aladdin modules, using AI to accelerate analysis while maintaining appropriate human review.
- Support data migration, system integration, testing, and deployment activities across complex Aladdin environments, improving consistency and delivery outcomes through AI-enabled automation where appropriate.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, technology teams, BlackRock, and project leadership, helping clients maximize the value of their Aladdin investment while supporting the responsible adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering BlackRock Aladdin implementation, enhancement, migration, or transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Aladdin capabilities across portfolio management, trading, investment operations, risk management, compliance, and investment accounting.
- Experience working with business and technology stakeholders across large-scale transformation programmes within asset management or wealth management.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into Aladdin-enabled solutions.
- A mindset of continuous learning and curiosity for adopting AI-enabled ways of working to improve productivity, delivery quality, and client outcomes while applying responsible AI principles.
Bonus Points For
- Experience across Aladdin Enterprise, Aladdin Wealth, Aladdin Accounting, or Aladdin Data Cloud.
- Knowledge of OMS, IBOR/ABOR, portfolio management, investment operations, performance measurement, or risk analytics.
- Experience integrating Aladdin with platforms such as Charles River, SimCorp, Avaloq, Temenos, FNZ, or enterprise data ecosystems.
- Technical skills including SQL, APIs, Python, cloud technologies, or data engineering.
- Experience supporting AI transformation initiatives or embedding AI capabilities (including Generative AI or Agentic AI) into investment platform transformation programmes.
