About the Job

The Strategic Alliances team is seeking a Alliance Specialist to drive growth through strategic partnerships across Europe.

In this role, you will develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with Global System Integrators (GSIs), with a particular focus on the Life Science.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and partner organizations, you will identify opportunities to expand pipeline, accelerate revenue, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings experience working with or for Global System Integrators in an advisory, business development, solution sales, or delivery capacity and has a proven ability to build executive relationships, influence cross-functional teams, and execute strategic growth initiatives.


What You'll Do

Strategic Alliance Management

  • Develop and execute joint business plans aligned with SAS Alliances & Channels objectives and partner priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic partners.
  • Drive partner-influenced pipeline growth and revenue attainment across designated accounts and industries.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize partner value throughout the sales lifecycle.

Executive & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop trusted relationships with senior executives across SAS and partner organizations.
  • Align partner strategies with SAS business priorities and market objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration among Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and partner stakeholders.

Joint Business Planning & Governance

  • Define and manage joint business plans, including revenue objectives, partner enablement activities, marketing initiatives, and key success metrics.
  • Monitor partner program compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Track and communicate performance against agreed KPIs, including pipeline and revenue performance.

Partner Enablement & Growth

  • Promote partner competencies and capabilities across SAS teams.
  • Support integrated solution development and delivery models.
  • Drive strategic initiatives that strengthen long-term alliance success and market impact.

Issue Resolution & Escalation Management

  • Establish escalation paths and governance mechanisms to resolve partnership challenges effectively.
  • Ensure alignment with regional and global alliance strategies.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in alliance management, business development, partner ecosystems, solution sales, consulting, or related technology-industry roles.
  • Experience working for or with Global System Integrators (GSIs) in EMEA.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing strategic partner relationships.
  • Experience developing and executing commercial growth plans and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Life Science industry experience is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software, analytics, AI, and partner ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional and international teams.
  • Fluent English required; German language skills are highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Compensation

  • The annual based salary range for this role is from €90,000 to €100,000 plus a performance-based incentive compensation.
  • Actual compensation will vary depending on experience, internal equity, skills, and qualifications.
