Job Title: Allocation Analyst (UK), Revenue Processing

A little bit about our team:

Warner Music’s Global Service Center Revenue Team collects and consolidates revenue for the company and works with other service center teams to provide best-in-class services to our global Finance labels and affiliates.

Your role:

The Allocation Analyst will report to the Allocation Manager UK and be part of the Allocation function based in the London office. In this role, you will support the accurate and timely allocation of financial resources, royalties, and music products across our global operations. You'll assist in ensuring fair rights distribution, supporting inventory allocation processes, and helping to maintain compliance with financial and contractual obligations.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Support the maintenance of cross-reference tables and assist with updates related to revenue allocation and ingestion processes
  • Assist in monitoring sales reporting data from WMG’s global affiliates, helping ensure accurate application of intercompany rates and data flow
  • Learn and develop an understanding of WMG’s sales lifecycle — from point of sale through to revenue recognition
  • Help monitor suspense management, including identifying and escalating issues in ingestion and allocation systems
  • Collaborate with product and project master data teams to support data integrity and accuracy across allocation processes
  • Assist with the setup of ancillary and intangible products by supporting master data teams with allocation-related requirements
  • Work alongside Finance, Technology, and Data teams to help resolve basic allocation issues
  • Contribute to process documentation and support improvements, automation, and reporting initiatives
  • Build knowledge of allocation logic and suspense handling to support internal teams

About you:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a data, finance, royalties, or operations-focused role (ideally in music or digital media, but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, lookups)
  • Willingness to learn and develop understanding of music rights, publishing, and royalties

We’d love it if you also had:

  • Experience working with financial or royalty data
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects or similar
  • A passion for music and an interest in how the business side of the industry works
