37 hours per week, (Monday to Friday)
Location: Harbour House, Preston
About the Role
As an Allocations Officer, you will have the responsibility for the allocation of all void properties. You will ensure an excellent customer experience is provided, supporting customers from initial applicant assessment through to tenancy sign up.
You will carry out property visits and allocate customers to suitable properties, with a strong focus on tenancy sustainability and creating successful, long-term tenancies. Working closely with customers and colleagues, you'll deliver a professional, efficient, and customer-focused service.
What We Are Looking For
Using your amazing communication and customer service skills, you will be able to identify the needs of our customers to make sure that they are allocated a property that best meet those needs.
You’ll have a natural flair for problem solving and supporting colleagues in your team. However, you’ll also be self-motivated and manage your own workload.
You’ll have great working knowledge of Social Housing and you’ll fully understand the importance of confidentiality.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had
- Worked in a similar role within social housing
- Basic knowledge of housing and estate management

Working Arrangements
This role is based at our gorgeous dockside offices in Preston. We offer flexibility wherever possible to accommodate our business and your personal needs.
