About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Allocations & Lettings Team Leader to join our Housing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, improving services, and delivering great outcomes for customers. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the Allocations and Lettings team, ensuring homes are allocated fairly, efficiently, and in line with policy and legislation.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading, coaching, and supporting a team of allocations and lettings officers.
- Monitoring performance and helping the team achieve targets.
- Overseeing allocation and lettings processes from application through to tenancy sign-up.
- Working with partners and colleagues to ensure homes are let quickly and effectively.
- Managing complex cases and responding to customer enquiries.
- Identifying opportunities to improve services and customer experience.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience of working within housing allocations, lettings, or a similar housing service.
- Previous experience of supervising or leading a team.
- Good knowledge of housing legislation, policy, and best practice.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering high-quality services.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work confidently under pressure.
