Allocator / Merchandiser

London (Hybrid) £30,000 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you highly organised, analytical, and passionate about products, planning and stock management? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised media and entertainment brand as an Allocator / Merchandiser on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their merchandising career within a fast-paced international business with a truly global presence.

The Role

Working closely with commercial, retail and operations teams, you will be responsible for ensuring stock is allocated effectively across multiple channels and markets, supporting product availability while maximising sales opportunities.

You will play a key role in inventory planning, order management and stock optimisation, providing accurate reporting and analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock allocation across multiple product categories and markets
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment actions
  • Analyse sales performance and stock movements to identify opportunities and risks
  • Support forecasting and merchandising planning processes
  • Maintain accurate product and inventory data within internal systems
  • Liaise with suppliers, logistics and commercial teams to ensure timely stock availability
  • Produce regular reports on stock performance, sales trends and KPIs
  • Support seasonal launches, promotional activity and new product introductions

About You

  • Previous experience in Merchandising, Allocation, Inventory Management or Supply Chain
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving commercial environment
  • Experience with merchandising, ERP or inventory management systems would be advantageous
