For many years, Alpha has hosted the Leadership Conference at the Royal Albert Hall - a global gathering designed to inspire and equip leaders to grow in Christ-like leadership, with the potential to change lives and transform the world. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Leadership Conference's annual marketing strategy, with a clear understanding of Alpha's wider strategic objectives: filling the room with strategic global leaders and using the conference as a platform to serve and equip the global church as part of Alpha's wider mission.

The role will oversee all marketing activity for the Leadership Conference, including social media, print and event marketing, video briefs, and the project management and delivery of all other marketing requirements. The role will also take responsibility for The Thread podcast, Alpha's leader-facing podcast. This will include researching speakers, overseeing promotional activity, particularly across social media, growing the podcast's audience, and ensuring The Thread supports both the Leadership Conference and Alpha's wider growth objectives.

If you're an ambitious self-starter who wants to help shape how Alpha serves the global church by investing in leaders, and you're a confident marketing manager with strong project management skills and the ability to bring together the many elements required to market a large-scale conference and global podcast, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact to Alpha's global mission.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
