Content Creator

As Content Creator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality video, photography, and social media content for Alpha UK and Alpha Youth UK. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing & Communications, and colleagues across the organisation to create compelling content that engages church leaders, volunteers, and potential Alpha guests.

You'll be comfortable moving between filming, editing, photography, content planning, community management, and storytelling, ensuring Alpha's digital presence remains fresh, engaging, and impactful.

Applications for this role will close on Sunday 25th October. The salary range for this position is £28,000 - £30,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film, photograph, edit, and produce engaging content for Alpha UK and Alpha Youth UK channels
  • Create platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, websites, and other digital channels
  • Support content planning, scheduling, and delivery in line with marketing and communications objectives
  • Capture stories of life change and church impact through a variety of content formats
  • Attend events to create real-time and post-event content
  • Help manage social media communities by responding to and engaging with followers
  • Ensure website content remains accurate, relevant, and up to date
  • Collaborate with teams across Alpha UK to create content for a variety of ministry contexts, including Youth, Students, Prisons, Chinese, and Catholic ministries
  • Deliver high-quality content within agreed budgets and deadlines

Requirements

  • Experience of Alpha (running or attending a course)
  • Knowledge of Alpha and passionate about our values
  • Experience in growing brand recognition and engagement on social media (knowledge of best practice and analytics)
  • Competent user of Adobe packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised - able to demonstrate an ability to plan ahead and work to deadlines
  • Knowledge and keen interest of trends and what other brands are doing
  • Attention to detail including filing and storing work
  • A team player who works collaboratively and is a ‘completer, finisher'
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced and progressive environment
