About the Role

The Additional Learning Support area is responsible for providing additional learning support across the College to full and part-time learners. Our aim at UCS College Group is for all students with additional support needs to have equal access to the curriculum and work towards meeting their full potential with our support. These may have a range of learning difficulties/disabilities which include specific learning difficulties, autistic spectrum, ADHD/ADD Visual Impairment, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, and mental Health Issues.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a team leader to lead and manage a team of learning support assistants, providing day to day guidance, morning briefings, regular 1:1 meetings, developmental reviews and appraisals. As a college, we are committed to continuing to support our team of LSA’s to provide empowering, high quality support to our learners with SEND.
