About the opportunity
Interested in how alternative investment products are developed, launched and managed? Our client, a leading global asset management firm, is looking for interns to join its Alternatives Product team in London. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience across real estate, infrastructure and private credit, while learning how investment ideas become products for clients.
You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, build your understanding of asset management and develop your skills through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events. Mentors and managers will support you throughout the programme. Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the firm’s graduate programme the following year.
About the team
The Alternatives Product team oversees the full product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and developing new products to supporting launches, capital raising and ongoing product management.

Working closely with investment teams, client coverage and specialist functions, the team develops investment solutions that meet client needs and support the growth of the business.
What you’ll do
- Support the development, structuring, launch and ongoing management of alternative investment products.
- Gain exposure to real estate, infrastructure and private credit strategies.
- Help draft and review product documentation, supporting sound product design and operational readiness.
- Organise and analyse financial, product and market data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Investments, Client Coverage, Product Development, Legal, Operations and other functions.
- Contribute to strategic projects that support the growth of the Alternatives business.
What we’re looking for
- A clear interest in financial markets and alternative investments.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn about investment products, fund structures and capital raising.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with financial, product and market data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for learning from others.
- Coding skills are welcome but are not essential.

Eligibility — please check before applying
To be eligible, you must:
- Be on track to graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in 2028, by 1 July 2028.
- Be available for the full programme, from the end of June to the end of August 2027.
- Have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship. Student visa holders are eligible provided their visa permits them to work for the duration of the programme.
- Be fluent in English.
