Make a Difference Where It Matters Most

Are you passionate about supporting young people who face barriers to education? Do you have the experience, resilience and vision to lead an alternative provision that helps students re-engage, succeed and thrive?

Oasis Academy Lister Park is seeking an exceptional Alternative Provision (Re-Engage) Manager to lead and develop our on-site alternative provision, supporting some of our most vulnerable learners to achieve positive outcomes and successfully reintegrate into mainstream education where appropriate.

This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with direct student support, working closely with senior leaders, SEND professionals, parents and external agencies to transform the life chances of young people.

About The Role

As Alternative Provision Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop our Alternative Provision as part of the wider pastoral team.
  • Create a nurturing, structured and ambitious environment that promotes engagement, attendance and achievement.
  • Support students with SEMH and other vulnerabilities through bespoke intervention programmes.
  • Deliver targeted teaching, mentoring and pastoral support to individuals and small groups.
  • Oversee attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and wellbeing records using systems such as Bromcom and CPOMS.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders, SENDCO, parents and external agencies.
  • Monitor progress, evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement across the provision.
  • Support reintegration pathways and positive post-16 destinations for students.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
