Your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive learning support to students in alternative provision settings, ensuring they receive the personalised attention and resources they need to succeed. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans to address the unique needs of each student
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support, ensuring students receive the attention and guidance they require
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Organise and facilitate engaging and meaningful educational activities, workshops, and field trips
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to the educational team
- Maintain detailed records and documentation to track student development and progress
Requirements:
- Relevant educational or teaching qualifications, with experience in alternative provision settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with students and their families
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust teaching strategies based on the needs of each student
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people and a commitment to their success
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
