About Kick Start Futures

Kick Start Futures is an exciting new alternative education provision created through a partnership between The Edge Alternative Education and Salisbury Football Club. We are bringing together education, football, and personal development to create a different kind of learning environment for young people who may struggle to thrive in mainstream education. Our approach is relational, restorative, and trauma-informed. Relationships come first, but alongside this we maintain clear boundaries, high expectations, and personal responsibility.

The Role

We are looking for a teacher who understands that successful teaching starts with building relationships. You will work with small groups of young people, delivering engaging and personalised learning within a supportive alternative provision environment. This isn’t about recreating a mainstream classroom on a smaller scale. We want someone who is creative, flexible, and willing to find different ways to help young people engage, achieve, and believe in themselves.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
