Are you a passionate teacher looking for a rewarding new challenge? Do you love animals, the outdoors, and making a real difference to people’s lives?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Alternative Provision Teacher to join our team at The Bucks Goat Centre.
This is a unique and rewarding role combining teaching with hands-on experiences, animals, outdoor activities, and meaningful engagement with people.
What we’re looking for:
We’d love to hear from applicants who have:
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting people
- Experience working with SEND children and adults
- A love of animals and working outdoors
- The ability to tailor teaching sessions to individual needs
- The physical fitness required to support daily animal welfare tasks
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
- Creativity and fresh ideas
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good sense of humour!

What the role involves:
Although this is primarily a teaching role, you’ll also support the wider day-to-day running of our centre. This may include helping with daily routines, interacting with visitors, supporting animal encounters and experiences, and delivering activities during school holidays.
It’s a varied role where no two days are quite the same — ideal for someone who enjoys being active, creative, and working in a unique outdoor environment.

- Part-time: 3–4 days per week

The site is best known for The Bucks Goat Centre and The Grazing Goat Café, alongside fitness and wellbeing hubs, craft studios, florists, crystal shops, and more.
