We are currently seeking an experienced Alternatives Business Analyst to join a major global Asset Management organisation, supporting a significant transformation programme across its Alternatives business.

This is a senior role at the heart of a Global Target Operating Model (GTOM) transformation spanning Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Assets and Hedge Funds.

You will play a key role in shaping scalable front-to-back operating models, data solutions and platform capabilities that support business growth, strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency across global markets.

The Role

You will:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis across complex Target Operating Model and transformation initiatives, from initial discovery through to delivery and adoption.
  • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, translating strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, processes and solution designs.
  • Design and support front-to-back solutions covering portfolio management, valuations, reporting and operational workflows across Alternatives.
  • Define and document data lineage, data flows and integration patterns across investment, operations, risk and technology systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, controls and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and support the implementation and integration of specialist Alternatives / investment management platforms.
  • Work closely with Business, Operations, Technology, Risk and Data teams across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
  • Help establish consistent, scalable operating models and controls across regions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
