AM Division General Foreman

CCG (Scotland) is one of the country’s largest construction and manufacturing groups. Our Asset Management Division delivers planned maintenance works to occupied homes, and we are seeking a General Foreman to support projects across Glasgow.

SALARY: Competitive

HOURS: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm; with additional hours worked as per project demands

LOCATION: Glasgow, Planned Maintenance Works

STATUS: Permanent

THE ROLE

  • Coordination of labour and material control to ensure an efficient method of build, delivered to the required quality standards and programme.
  • Scheduling and coordinating works to ensure production targets are achieved whilst maintaining a high-quality finish.
  • Ensuring work methods are performed correctly
  • Completing relevant site documentation on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ensuring CCG’s Group Health, Safety & Environmental Policy is being adhered to and encouraging safe working practices on site

Skills

  • Trade background preferred but not essential.
  • Good Leadership qualities
  • Basis knowledge of drawings
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working within occupied properties and dealing directly with tenants.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Good IT skills and experience completing site documentation.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Understanding of construction and refurbishment project delivery.
