AM2 Centre Manager / AM2 Assessor

Salary: £44,844 – £48,646

Location: Norwich

The Opportunity

A brand-new AM2 Assessment Centre is being launched in Norwich, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrician to step into a rewarding role within the training and assessment sector.

This is an ideal move for someone looking to come off the tools while still staying closely connected to the electrical industry and supporting the next generation of electricians entering the trade.

You do not need previous assessing experience to be considered. Full assessor & NET accreditation can be provided for the right individual.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in the setup, delivery and day-to-day running of a modern AM2 assessment facility, supporting apprentices through the final stage of their Electrical Installation apprenticeship.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting and overseeing AM2 assessments
  • Supporting candidates throughout the assessment process
  • Ensuring assessments are delivered in line with NET requirements
  • Managing assessment schedules and workshop operations
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and assessment bays
  • Supporting quality assurance and compliance processes
  • Working closely with employers, apprentices and training teams
  • Helping shape and develop a brand-new assessment centre

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
