Key Responsibilities
Amazon Retail Business Management
- Own the end-to-end Amazon UK 1P Retail business, including sell-in, sell-out, revenue, profitability, market share, inventory health, and overall account performance.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans to deliver sustainable growth.
Amazon Vendor & Commercial Management
- Serve as the key business interface with Amazon Vendor Managers, AVS, Supply Chain, and other Retail teams.
- Lead commercial discussions covering purchase orders, forecasts, pricing, promotional investments, retail terms, profitability, and business growth opportunities.
Demand Forecasting, PO & Inventory Management
- Work closely with Amazon and internal Supply Chain teams on demand forecasting, PO planning, order fulfillment, inventory coverage, in-stock rate, aged inventory, and sell-through.
- Identify supply risks early and drive corrective actions to maximize product availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels.
New Product Launch & Retail Promotions
- Lead Amazon UK launch execution for key new products, including assortment planning, launch timing, initial buy / PO alignment, retail pricing, deal setup, and inventory readiness.
- Own major retail events such as Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, and secure Amazon resources and visibility to maximize launch and promotional performance.
Pricing, Profitability & Retail Fundamentals
- Monitor RRP, retail selling price, competitive pricing, and promotional depth while protecting sustainable profitability.
- Track key Amazon Retail metrics including Net PPM, margin, sell-through, weeks of cover, availability, and promotional ROI, and work with Amazon to resolve pricing, deal, or profitability issues.

Business Planning & Performance Analysis
- Utilize Vendor Central, Amazon Retail reporting, and internal BI tools to conduct weekly/monthly business reviews, identify growth gaps, and develop actionable recovery plans.
- Build category, product, and competitor insights to support assortment, pricing, promotion, and investment decisions.
Retail Marketing & Traffic Growth
- Partner with internal Marketing teams and Amazon Advertising teams to develop traffic and media strategies across Sponsored Ads, display, and other Amazon marketing solutions.
- Ensure media investment supports priority products, launches, and retail events while improving ROAS and conversion.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with GTM, Product, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure product readiness, commercial alignment, inventory availability, and flawless execution of the Amazon UK business.
UK & EU Market Intelligence
- Track Amazon Retail developments, competitor strategies, category trends, and emerging e-commerce opportunities across the UK and Europe, and translate market insights into actionable commercial strategies.
Job Requirements
Work Authorization
- Valid UK Right to Work / Work Permit.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, E-commerce, Marketing, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail account management, or key account management.
- Experience managing Amazon 1P / Vendor Central business, or working directly with Amazon Retail / Vendor Management teams, is strongly preferred.

Amazon Retail Expertise
- Strong understanding of the Amazon 1P retail model, including Vendor Central, PO and forecasting processes, inventory management, pricing and promotions, retail profitability, and Amazon commercial mechanisms.
Commercial & Analytical Capability
- Strong commercial judgment and numerical skills, with the ability to manage revenue, margin, inventory, and investment simultaneously and translate data into concrete business actions.
Negotiation & Stakeholder Management
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Amazon Vendor Managers / AVS teams and influence cross-functional internal stakeholders.
Project Management & Execution
- Strong ownership and execution capabilities, able to manage new product launches, major promotional events, and multiple business priorities under tight timelines.
Language Skills
- Native-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full professional fluency in English is also required, as the role involves frequent communication, negotiation, and business reviews with Amazon UK teams as well as cross-functional collaboration with global and China-based stakeholders.
Additional Experience
- Experience in consumer electronics, smartphones, or other fast-moving technology categories is preferred.
- Knowledge of Amazon Advertising is a plus.
