What is the role responsible for?
This is Level 2 support role within Customer Experience (CX) Support Operations, responsible for providing confident, customer-focused technical and operational support across Amazon Connect and wider CX tooling, services and support processes.
The role acts as an escalation point for incidents and requests, owning assigned tickets end-to-end, carrying out structured investigation and resolution activity, and coordinating technical or hierarchical escalations where required. The role supports service stability, SLA performance, clear customer communication, knowledge management and continual service improvement across the CX support function.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
Here are a few examples of what you could be involved with:
- Provide Tier 2 application, solution and operational support for major Amazon Connect clients.
- Own incidents and service requests end-to-end, keeping tickets recorded, prioritised, updated and on track.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues, resolving where possible or escalating clearly and promptly.
- Provide clear, timely customer updates on progress, ownership, actions and next steps.
- Work with internal teams, vendors and third parties to resolve complex issues and improve outcomes.
- Create and maintain knowledge documentation, customer guidance and team reporting.
- Join the on-call rota and complete planned out-of-hours changes when required.
- Live Gamma values by taking ownership, collaborating openly, supporting colleagues and doing what’s right for customers and the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
