WE ARE HIRING: AMAZON CONNECT LEAD DEVELOPER
Location: Havant, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid
Office Requirement: 2–3 days per week
Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months
We are looking for an experienced AMAZON CONNECT LEAD DEVELOPER with strong hands-on experience in Amazon Connect, AWS Lex, and AWS Lambda.
The ideal candidate will have strong AMAZON CONNECT implementation experience and be confident in designing, developing, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Amazon Connect solutions in production environments.
MANDATORY SKILLS
AMAZON CONNECT:
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
- Amazon Connect instance setup and configuration
- Contact flow design, development, and deployment
- End-to-end Amazon Connect implementation
- Customer journey design and deployment
- Production troubleshooting, optimization, and support
- Ability to lead Amazon Connect development and own user stories end to end
AWS LEX:
- Hands-on experience designing and developing complex AWS Lex bots
- Customer-facing chatbot development
- Conversational AI, intent management, and slot handling
- Lex integration with Amazon Connect
- Integration with other AWS services

AWS LAMBDA:
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda
- Creating and deploying Lambda functions
- Lambda environment variable configuration
- Lambda integration with Amazon Connect and AWS Lex
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of serverless applications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Amazon Connect development activities
- Own user stories from design through deployment
- Design and develop Amazon Connect contact flows
- Develop and integrate AWS Lex bots
- Develop and integrate AWS Lambda functions
- Deliver Amazon Connect customer journeys end to end
- Troubleshoot and optimize Amazon Connect solutions
- Support production environments
- Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to broader AWS backend development as required
