Amazon Lead EMEA

Salary: £80-100k + Bonus + Benefits

Location & Working Model: UK (Remote) with Quarterly European Travel

Key Role Feature: Full P&L ownership of Amazon across EMEA with responsibility for driving the next phase of international growth

Due to continued investment in ecommerce and international expansion, our client is looking to appoint an ambitious Amazon Lead EMEA to take ownership of one of the region's most strategically important growth channels. This is a high-impact role offering genuine ownership of the Amazon business across Europe, with responsibility for commercial performance, media investment, operational excellence and long-term growth strategy.

Our client is a globally recognised consumer brand with a strong heritage of innovation, category leadership and customer trust. Following significant investment into digital commerce and marketplace acceleration, Amazon has become a critical strategic channel across EMEA. The Amazon Lead EMEA will play a key role in shaping the future success of the business, working closely with senior leadership across commercial, marketing, operations, supply chain and finance functions.

The Amazon Lead EMEA will:

  • Own the Amazon EMEA P&L, driving revenue, profitability and market share growth
  • Develop and execute a multi-year Amazon growth roadmap
  • Define assortment, pricing, promotional and marketplace expansion strategies
  • Build forecasting processes that maximise availability and reduce lost sales
  • Identify and execute innovative growth opportunities across the region
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders to shape the future direction of the channel

Amazon Strategy & Commercial Performance

The Amazon Lead EMEA will:

  • Lead Seller Central operations across multiple EMEA marketplaces
  • Drive trading performance, account health and operational excellence
  • Develop marketplace strategies to improve conversion, customer acquisition and profitability
  • Identify growth opportunities through bundles, Subscribe & Save, cross-border trade and marketplace expansion
  • Manage operational KPIs including account health, delivery performance and compliance standards
  • Optimise category performance through data-driven decision making and continuous testing

Amazon Advertising & Retail Media

The role requires:

  • Ownership of Amazon Advertising strategy and performance
  • Leadership of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and DSP activity
  • Management of agency partners against clearly defined KPIs and objectives
  • Optimisation of TACOS, ROAS and advertising efficiency targets
  • Continuous refinement of media investment through testing and performance insights
  • Close alignment between media strategy and overall business objectives

Cross-Functional Leadership

The Amazon Lead EMEA will:

  • Partner closely with marketing teams to translate brand investment into marketplace demand
  • Align product launches and promotional plans across ecommerce channels
  • Work with supply chain teams to improve forecasting accuracy and availability
  • Partner with finance stakeholders to monitor profitability and ROI
  • Build compelling, data-driven business cases to influence key decision makers
  • Act as the organisation's internal Amazon subject matter expert

Essential Skills

The successful Amazon Lead EMEA will demonstrate:

  • Fantastic Amazon Seller Central experience across EMEA marketplaces
  • Proven ownership of Amazon growth strategies and commercial performance
  • Experience managing Amazon P&Ls and profitability targets
  • Strong analytical and commercial decision-making capability
  • Experience leading marketplace growth and expansion initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Confidence presenting strategy and performance to senior leadership teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias towards action and experimentation

Preferred Experience

The role would particularly suit someone with experience in:

  • Beauty, skincare, healthcare or consumer goods categories
  • Multi-market Amazon operations across EMEA
  • Amazon Advertising and retail media management
  • European marketplace expansion projects
  • Strategic forecasting and supply chain collaboration
  • Additional European languages
  • High-growth consumer brands
