Amazon Lead Europe

Salary: £70-80k + Market Leading Package
Location & Working Model: Central London 2-3 days a week in Office

About the Role

Patrick Murray and 3Search are working with a globally recognised beauty and personal care brand to recruit an Amazon Lead Europe.

Our client is a globally recognised consumer brand with a strong heritage of innovation, creativity and category leadership. With Amazon already representing one of the largest and fastest-growing channels within the European business, the company is looking to appoint an ambitious Amazon Lead Europe to drive the next phase of growth.

This is a high-profile position reporting directly to senior leadership and offering genuine ownership of a significant Amazon business. The successful Amazon Lead Europe will take responsibility for strategy, profitability, retail media, operational performance and long-term marketplace growth across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

The Amazon Lead Europe will operate as the commercial owner of the Amazon business, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance and supply chain teams to deliver ambitious growth targets whilst strengthening the brand's position across every European marketplace.

The Amazon Lead Europe will:

  • Own the Amazon 1P P&L across all European marketplaces
  • Develop and execute the long-term Amazon growth strategy across EU10
  • Lead annual vendor negotiations and Joint Business Planning processes
  • Build strong senior relationships with Amazon retail, vendor and advertising teams
  • Drive profitable revenue growth whilst protecting margin performance
  • Act as the key internal expert on Amazon strategy, performance and market opportunities
  • Deliver net sales, profitability and market share objectives
  • Manage pricing, promotions and commercial investment across Europe
  • Optimise trade spend and marketing investment to maximise ROI
  • Lead Prime Day, Black Friday, seasonal events and promotional planning
  • Identify growth opportunities across range, category and marketplace expansion initiatives
  • Monitor and improve overall channel profitability and commercial performance

Amazon Media and Advertising Autonomy and Ownership

  • Ownership of the European Amazon Ads strategy and retail media budget
  • Management of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and DSP activity
  • Partnership with agency providers and marketing teams to maximise performance
  • Optimisation of ROAS, ACOS, share of voice and new-to-brand acquisition
  • Continuous testing, learning and budget reallocation based on performance data
  • Development of best-in-class marketplace marketing strategies

Supply Chain & Operations Ownership

  • Own the Amazon S&OP process across Europe
  • Lead forecasting, purchase order management and inventory planning
  • Partner closely with supply chain and customer service teams to improve operational performance
  • Drive improvements across fill rate, availability, chargebacks and cost recovery
  • Ensure successful execution of new product launches across all marketplaces

Digital Shelf & Marketplace Optimisation

  • Ownership of digital shelf performance across Europe
  • Development of best-in-class product pages, A+ Content and Brand Store experiences
  • Continuous improvement of content quality, search visibility and conversion rates
  • Monitoring of ratings, reviews and customer feedback trends
  • Utilisation of digital shelf analytics to identify opportunities and prioritise improvements

The Successful Candidate

The successful Amazon Lead Europe will demonstrate:

  • Experience managing Amazon Vendor Central businesses
  • Proven ownership of Amazon P&Ls and commercial performance
  • Experience leading annual vendor negotiations and Joint Business Planning processes
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Advertising and retail media
  • Digital shelf optimisation expertise across multiple European marketplaces
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and strong commercial decision-making skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners
