Amazon Trading Manager
You already know how Amazon works. This role is about learning how to trade it.
We’re looking for an ambitious Amazon Trading Manager with at least two years’ hands-on Vendor Central experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Working directly with our Online Sales Director, you’ll help trade our Amazon business across a portfolio of established consumer brands. You’ll move beyond listings and day-to-day account administration and become involved in the commercial decisions that really drive the channel — pricing, promotions, product launches, availability, sales and profitability.
This is deliberately a development role. We’re not looking for someone who already knows everything; we’re looking for someone with strong Amazon foundations, commercial curiosity and the ambition to grow.
Success in this role means gradually taking greater ownership of the Amazon channel, developing your commercial trading skills and becoming increasingly confident making decisions that improve sales and profitability.
For the right person, there is a genuine long-term progression opportunity towards a future Head of Amazon role.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day trading of our Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts.
- Create, optimise and maintain Amazon product listings to best practice.
- Manage catalogue health, suppressions and compliance issues.
- Analyse sales, profitability, availability and overall trading performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales and commercial performance.
- Support pricing, promotional planning and new product launches.
- Work with our external Amazon marketing agency to maximise advertising performance.
- Support major trading events including Prime Day and Black Friday.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing and wider marketplace trends.
- Liaise directly with Amazon to resolve operational and account issues.
- Work closely with our Buying, Marketing, Product Development and Customer Service teams.
- Produce regular reporting and turn the numbers into clear commercial actions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who we're looking for
This is a step-up opportunity, rather than a senior hire.
You might currently be an Amazon Executive, Marketplace Executive or Account Executive who has spent the last couple of years learning the platform and is now thinking:
“What’s next?”
If you want to understand the commercial side of Amazon rather than simply administer an account, take greater ownership of trading decisions and build towards a senior Amazon career, we’d like to hear from you.
You’ll work directly with our Online Sales Director, be trusted to bring ideas to the table and get genuine exposure to the decisions behind growing a multi-brand Amazon business.
Ready for your next step?
If you know Amazon Vendor Central and have the ambition to eventually lead an Amazon channel, apply now through LinkedIn.
You don’t need to tick every desirable box. If you have the core Vendor Central experience, commercial curiosity and the drive to develop, we’d still like to hear from you.
