About This Programme

Ambition Nottingham is a free two-year online programme open to all Year 12 students across the UK, designed to support your journey to university regardless of where you want to study. Across the programme you'll attend subject taster sessions with Nottingham academics, Q&As with current students, and get guidance on course selection, student finance, accommodation, and the university application process. You'll also get VIP access to Nottingham Open Days with extra activities and support. The programme has two tiers β€” Tier 1 students who meet the widening participation criteria and complete eight live sessions become eligible for an enhanced contextual offer at the University of Nottingham plus the Nottingham Potential bursary if they go on to study there. Tier 2 students get access to all the same online resources and events without the contextual offer benefit. Either way it's a genuinely useful two-year support programme that costs nothing and works around your schedule.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
