Ambulance Base Manager

Job Description
General Summary
As an Ambulance Base Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the ambulance station to the highest standard. This includes:
- Managing stock control of ambulance consumables and medications
- Oversight and leadership of the Make Ready Team
- Assisting in recruitment and induction processes
- Maintaining training records for all staff, including driving licenses and DBS certificates
- Managing the staff rota
- Ensuring the general upkeep and operational readiness of the station
Key Qualities & Requirements
- FREC 4 Qualification or above (Desirable)
- Statutory & Mandatory Training (provided in-house)
- Previous management experience in the ambulance industry
- Full UK driving licence, with no more than 3 penalty points
- Willingness to complete PMVA and mental health care training
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility for variable hours, including unsocial shifts
- Professionalism in representing LSA to patients, customers, stakeholders, and the public
- Willingness to assist with our Events Team
- Maintain full operational capability in the role

- Competitive Pay: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum
