Ambulance Care Assistant - Barnsley

365 Group is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Ambulance Care Assistant in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

About the Role

As an Ambulance Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation in a safe and efficient manner. You will be working alongside our experienced healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients during their journey.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing assistance to patients during transportation to medical facilities
  • Ensuring the safe and timely arrival of patients at their destination
  • Maintaining a clean and organized ambulance vehicle
  • Monitoring the condition of patients and providing necessary care as needed
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of patients and equipment

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a kind and caring demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is preferred, but not required.

  • Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have no more than 3 penalty points.
  • The role requires a flexible schedule, including some early morning, evenings, nights, and weekend shifts.
