An Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) offers profoundly rewarding contributions to patient care. Responsibilities
As an Ambulance Care Assistant, your core responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent patient care and support during transport
- Assisting with patient mobility and comfort
- Maintaining a high standard of communication with patients, families, and colleagues
- Contributing to patient documentation and administrative tasks under supervision
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in life-threatening or non-emergency situations
- Upholding stringent clinical, operational, and safety standards at all times

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you must:
- Hold a full UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months if over 21, or 24 months if under 21)
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Maintain good physical fitness, including assisting patients with mobility in all weather/conditions

✅ Competitive base salary – £28,042.56 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) ✅ Part-time flexibility – 24 to 36 hours per week ✅ Generous annual leave entitlement ✅ Overtime offer at time-and-a-half (when working over 40 hours/week)
