Pilgrim’s Europe - Llanidloes is currently seeking a dedicated Facilities Cleaner to join our team at Llanidloes. Location: Dolwen, Oakleys Park, Llanidloes, SY18 6LX
Shift Pattern Monday to Friday
Working Hours 05:15am - 13:15pm 08:30am - 15:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure staff facilities such as the staff canteens, changing facilities, toilets, lairage hygiene area, laundry room, and managerial offices are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards at the specified frequency as outlined in the housekeeping cleaning procedures.
- Provide a high-quality cleaning service that includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure that the laundry room is kept clean, tidy, stocked of cleaning products and protective overalls, gloves, and for the collection of dirty overalls for sending to the contracted laundry provider.
- Responsible for ensuring that dirty cut gloves are laundered and clean gloves are handed back out to production personnel and ensure that PPE such as waterproof leggings are cleaned.
- Ensure that toilet areas are visually inspected at the defined frequency during the course of the working day to ensure that the areas are kept tidy and stocked of toilet consumables, e.g., soap, toilet rolls, paper towels.
- Check the staff canteen fridge temperatures and report any out-of-specification results to the Technical Manager in the first instance.
- To maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene at all times and raise any concerns with the Technical Manager in the first instance.

- Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations, Hygiene Regulations, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and a familiarity with material Safety Data Sheets are desirable within this role.
