Description
Join Trowers & Hamlins on a 6-month fixed term contract and develop a career in legal compliance as part of our Business Intake Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and an interest in risk and compliance to gain exposure to AML and conflicts processes within a leading international law firm.
The Role
This role supports the firm's client onboarding and compliance processes, ensuring AML and conflicts checks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with AML checks and client due diligence reviews.
- Conduct client and matter research using screening tools and databases.
- Verify information submitted by fee earners and support staff.
- Respond to enquiries and provide guidance throughout the onboarding process.
- Carry out conflicts searches and identify potential issues.
- Support the wider Risk & Compliance Team with administrative and compliance-related tasks.

The Candidate
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is keen to develop within legal compliance.
- Graduate, or someone with previous compliance experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
- Positive, adaptable and eager to learn.
