PQE (Product Quality Engineering) AMS Engineer
Location: Stevenage, Bristol & Bolton, UK
Work Mode: Fully Onsite – 5 Days/Week
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PQE (Product Quality Engineering) AMS Engineer / QA Automation & DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Xray, CI/CD pipelines, Eggplant Test Automation, and automated quality engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining automated QA processes, integrating testing into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and supporting high-quality software releases within an AMS environment.
The role requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, release management, QA, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Eggplant Functional and Eggplant DAI.
- Develop model-based, end-to-end, regression, and integration test suites.
- Perform cross-platform validation across web, desktop, and integrated systems.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable quality metrics.
- Perform functional, API, integration, and system testing.
- Participate in test planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis.
DevSecOps & CI/CD Integration
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms.
- Configure and maintain automated quality gates within release pipelines.
- Support continuous testing and shift-left quality practices.
- Collaborate with release and deployment teams to improve delivery reliability.

AMP_L Platform Support
- Support artifact repository governance using JFrog Artifactory.
- Assist with artifact lifecycle management, dependency management, and package governance.
- Use JFrog Xray for vulnerability and license compliance insights.
- Support release readiness through validated artifact management.
- Ensure validated artifacts progress through controlled deployment workflows.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Strong hands-on experience in QA Automation, Quality Engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Experience working within an AMS / enterprise application support environment
- Willing to work fully onsite, 5 days per week
- Able to commute to Stevenage, Bristol, or Bolton, depending on project requirements
