AMS Practice Lead

The AMS Practice Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic ownership of AG's SAP Application Managed Services (AMS) Service Line. You will set the direction for the AMS Practice — in collaboration with AG's Senior Leadership Team and AMS Data Leads — deciding where the practice focuses across SAP products, technologies, and project types, and ensuring it is equipped with the right skills and experience to deliver against that strategy.

You will act as the strategic custodian of the AMS Practice, owning its market presence, its forward-looking technology and services roadmap, and the commercial health of the practice, while acting as the final point of escalation for service-related issues.

This role requires a blend of SAP strategic leadership, commercial acumen, market and capability planning, and senior stakeholder management. The practice operates on a two-tier leadership model: the AMS Practice Lead sets strategy, owns commercial performance and acts as the final escalation point, while an AMS Lead runs day-to-day service delivery, SLA/KPI performance and team operations, reporting into this role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
