Job Summary
The Aftermarket Sales Engineer is responsible for growing the Low Pressure Solutions aftermarket business across the UK & Ireland. The role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, expanding aftermarket sales opportunities, and increasing market penetration, particularly in the Water & Wastewater Treatment (WWT) sector. Working closely with Industrial Blower Services (IBS), the position promotes a multi-brand service offering covering blowers, pumps, vacuum equipment, repairs, upgrades, and service agreements.
Responsibilities
- Develop knowledge of the installed equipment base across the UK & Ireland.
- Identify service opportunities, maintenance needs, and upgrade projects.
- Drive aftermarket growth within the WWT sector.
- Identify opportunities in aeration, sludge treatment, biogas, and related applications.
- Grow bookings, revenue, and margin within the assigned territory.
- Develop service opportunities for pumps, vacuum systems, and related equipment.
- Support equipment reliability and performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and installed-base developments.
- Maintain sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.

Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical/commercial experience.
- Experience in technical sales, aftermarket, field service, or business development.
- Knowledge of blowers, compressors, pumps, vacuum equipment, or rotating machinery preferred.
- Strong commercial and customer relationship skills.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Remote-based role with access to Ingersoll Rand office locations and frequent travel across the UK & Ireland.
