Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner
Description
If you're passionate about care, innovation and excellence, then HMT could be the perfect place for the next step in your career. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Theatre Team at Sancta Maria Hospital, Swansea.
We are looking for an Anaesthetic and Recovery Practitioner to support the provision of Endoscopy services within the department under the guidance of the Endoscopy Lead.
This is predominantly an Anaesthetics post, but some recovery work will be required.
We are looking to recruit 32.5 hours, but are open to part-time and full-time applicants.
Main Duties
- As part of the theatre team, you will supervise and support less experienced and unqualified members of staff and act as a role model.
- You will take an active role in identifying their and others learning needs and be proactive in closing knowledge and skills gaps, creating and sustaining a firm foundation within the department to underpin practice.
- The post holder will take an active role in identifying and contributing to process improvement and participate in quality monitoring activities.
- They will act as Team Leader on occasion, when appropriate and safe to do so and dependent on progress within the post.
Sancta Maria Hospital offers treatment across all major medical specialties and care at every step of the process, from initial consultations, assessments and diagnostic tests to treatment, rehabilitation, and post-operative care.
