A leading global semiconductor company is looking for an experienced Analog IC Design Manager to lead a team of Analog IC Design Engineers in Bristol, ranging from Associate through to Senior level.

The Bristol team is at the forefront of Analog and Mixed-Signal IC design for optical communications, developing advanced laser driver, transimpedance amplifier (TIA) and integrated transceiver ICs used in FTTH networks, hyperscale datacentres and high-speed connectivity applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer who is ready to take the next step into people leadership while maintaining strong technical involvement and influence across complex semiconductor projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Analog IC Design Engineers, including mentoring, performance management, development planning and recruitment.

  • Manage project execution, resource allocation, schedules, budgets and technical delivery.
  • Lead product development from initial concept through to market introduction.
  • Work with senior engineering, marketing and design teams to define product priorities and technical roadmaps.
  • Provide input into staffing requirements, technology selection, feasibility and technical risk assessments.
  • Promote robust analog design methodologies and best practices to maximise quality and first-time-right silicon.

  • Collaborate with international engineering teams and contribute to the development of design guidelines and processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
