We're seeking an Assurance Analyst to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of water, wastewater and electricity billing and consumption data. You'll support accurate customer billing, invoice validation, cost management and reporting, helping the business make informed operational, financial and contractual decisions. Working with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you'll investigate discrepancies, improve data quality, maintain governance controls and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and performance. This is a great opportunity to advance your Assurance career and work within a supportive team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Validating water and wastewater billing, consumption and tariff data from a range of internal and external sources
  • Investigating data discrepancies, invoice queries and consumption anomalies, working with stakeholders to achieve timely resolutions
  • Producing accurate reports, management information and analysis to support operational, financial and contractual performance.
  • Maintaining data quality and governance controls, ensuring business systems remain accurate, compliant and up to date
  • Supporting improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, operational efficiency and cost management
  • Providing operational support across Assurance activities and contingency cover as required

What You’ll Bring:

  • Good IT skills to include MS Office, particularly, MS Excel
  • Experience of working with datasets and compiling reports across different software packages
  • Producing clear and insightful management information
  • Strong communication skills and able to convey information effectively across multiple channels and audiences
  • Strong organisation, problem-solving and prioritisation skills
  • Due to the nature of sites on which we operate, the successful candidate must meet the UK BPSS Security Vetting requirements for the role which includes a full background check
