Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Qualifications

  • Hold a good degree (minimum 2:1), ideally in a business or science-related discipline, with strong A-level results
  • Ideally have 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial, marketing, or market research role (though recent graduates will also be considered)
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a proactive, self-starting approach
  • Have a genuine interest in the TV industry and a desire to build a career in this sector
  • Are highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
  • Possess strong computer skills (preferably Apple/Mac), including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau would be advantageous
  • Demonstrate an interest in using AI tools to support data gathering, analysis, and insight generation within research and consultancy work
  • Some exposure to coding (e.g. Python or TypeScript) is a bonus but not essential — we're just as interested to hear if you've used an AI coding assistant like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, or built a small personal project you'd be happy to share on GitHub
