About The One Nine Three Group

The One Nine Three Group (193) is a boutique advisory firm that protects and strengthens the reputations of businesses and their leaders. Our clients include some of the world’s most recognised organisations across a variety of sectors. 193 is wholly owned by its founders, Zach Siegel and Matthew Freud.

Since our founding in 2019, 193 has earned recognition as a leading reputation management adviser, known for our expertise in corporate and financial communications. We're now entering our next phase of growth and building the right team to match our ambitions.

193 sits within the Freuds Group building on Stephen Street in London, exposing our team to some of the world's most creative consumer, technology, sport, and lifestyle communications specialists, with an art collection to match, every day. Our New York office sits on Manhattan’s fabled Madison Avenue, surrounded by many of the world’s leading financial institutions, businesses and media organisations, some of whom we are proud to call our clients.

193 is part of Freuds Group, an affiliation of strategy, creative, and content agencies founded by Matthew Freud in 1985.

Position Summary

193 recently launched an intelligence function that will be staffed by a newly created Analyst role. The Analyst determines what is moving markets and why, then turns that into potential opportunities and identified emerging risks for our clients. The new function will also support day-to-day client work, new business mapping, and analysis for the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Each Analyst will be responsible for a portfolio of target sectors and companies, and prepare briefings on what is likely to move markets and why, what is as actionable for clients, and where risks may be emerging. The remit will span financial markets, politics, regulation, and consumer and social trends, with the best Analysts able to connect the dots across them.

Training will be provided, making this role a natural first step for those coming from graduate programmes or master’s degrees. Responsibility will start from day one: what an Analyst identifies, and how they frame it, will directly inform the advice 193 gives some of the world's most recognised businesses and largest pools of private capital.

Responsibilities

  • Research a portfolio of companies, sectors, competitors, and stakeholders relevant to client accounts and 193 activities.
  • Monitor financial markets, business news, politics, regulation, and consumer and social trends, and identify what connects them for clients.
  • Lead daily briefings for client teams covering what is moving the market and why, what qualifies as actionable intelligence for clients, and what looks like an emerging risk to clients.
  • Build and maintain systems for tracking relevant news and information, using AI tools where appropriate.
  • Use 193's data tools to assess corporate reputation and flag reputational and regulatory risks facing clients early.
  • Produce peer analysis and other research to support investor relations assignments.
  • Contribute research to new business pitches and other firmwide projects.
