Analyst: AI & Data Insights

City of London, near Bank, Cannon Street and Mansion House

Junior Analyst realistic earnings, including basic salary and bonus: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
Analyst, typically after six months: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
Lead Analyst, typically after 12 to 18 months: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum

Consulting Point is building an internal AI and data capability that sits at the centre of how we identify commercial opportunities, engage clients and understand the consulting and enterprise technology markets.

We are looking for an Analyst who wants their work to have a visible commercial impact. You will turn large volumes of market and talent information into accurate, usable intelligence that directly supports client outreach, senior conversations and revenue generation across the firm.

This is a hands-on role. You will spend a significant proportion of your time reviewing raw information, investigating gaps, resolving inconsistencies and structuring data so that it can be used confidently. Precision matters, but so does understanding the wider purpose of the work.

You will work closely with experienced consultants and partners to identify relevant companies and individuals, improve targeted outreach and provide the context behind commercial conversations.

Rather than working in isolation, you will regularly collaborate with colleagues to refine requirements, resolve ambiguity and improve how insight is applied in practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role will include:

  • Reviewing, verifying and structuring market, company and talent information
  • Researching consulting firms, technology businesses and senior individuals
  • Building targeted lists for client outreach and executive search activity
  • Working with consultants to define and refine research requirements
  • Maintaining accurate information within our CRM and internal systems
  • Using AI and modern digital tools to improve research, analysis and workflow efficiency
  • Identifying patterns, gaps and commercial opportunities within large volumes of information
  • Challenging existing approaches constructively and helping us improve how the function operates

Previous experience in executive search, recruitment, talent research or resourcing would be particularly valuable. You may already understand how market information, candidate intelligence and targeted outreach support successful commercial activity and now want to apply that experience in a more analytical role.

However, prior recruitment experience is not essential. We are equally interested in people with strong analytical ability, sound judgement and the curiosity to investigate unfamiliar markets, firms and individuals.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work independently through large volumes of information
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to clarify unclear requirements
  • A strong academic background demonstrating analytical thinking or structured problem solving
  • An interest in AI, data, consulting and modern digital tools
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how good information supports better decisions
  • A willingness to improve established processes and introduce more effective ways of working
