Analyst – Application Management and Operations

Bring your energy to Aggreko as an Analyst – Application Management and Operations, based in Glasgow.

You’ll provide application support to our employees, diagnosing and resolving issues related to the CloudSuite ERP system. You’ll be responsible for managing and prioritizing requests, recreating issues in appropriate environments, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to develop and deploy effective solutions. Your work will also involve monitoring application health, investigating data and integration challenges, and contributing directly to the continuous improvement and security of our services.

What you’ll do as an Analyst – Application Management and Operations:

  • Manage and prioritize requests related to the CloudSuite ERP system (incidents, problems, changes, and DevOps)
  • Monitor, create, and manage events, alerts, and performance for CloudSuite environments
  • Investigate and resolve issues regarding data, integrations, and workflows in collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Deploy improvements and new features through change and release processes
  • Manage incidents and problems, ensuring rapid service restoration and the prevention of recurrences
  • Create reports and dashboards to track application health and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Configure and maintain security for the Infor OS platform
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap and the continuous improvement of services and integrations

You are:

  • Experienced in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cloud environments (Azure preferred)
  • Analytical, organized, and a strong problem-solver
  • Proactive, with an aptitude for learning new tools and working in dynamic environments
  • A good communicator, able to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Collaborative, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Autonomous and motivated, with strong prioritization skills
  • Experienced with ERP systems (preferably Infor CloudSuite) and knowledgeable in SQL (desirable)
  • Educated to a degree level (desirable) and ITIL Foundation certified (an advantage)
