The Role

The global real estate private equity firm is hiring an Analyst or Associate to join its Real Estate team in London. The role focuses on credit and hybrid investments across the capital structure. The firm's real estate portfolio spans over 40 countries and covers property sectors including offices, retail, hotels, residential, industrial, and niche sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analysing, structuring, recommending, and closing new deals, including due diligence, underwriting, and legal documentation.
  • Take primary responsibility for financial modelling of transactions, with support from the deal lead.
  • Assist with preparing Investment Committee papers for submission to senior investment staff.
  • Work with third-party managers to evaluate eligible transactions.
  • Support senior team members in business development, relationship management, and manager performance monitoring.
  • Assist with asset management and performance monitoring of existing loan positions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting is submitted to control functions and senior management.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong academic background or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant experience in real estate debt financing, debt capital markets, structured finance, or corporate banking is preferred.
  • Good understanding of financial structures and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to collaborate with managers in designing effective presentations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg is desirable.
  • Analytical approach and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines.

Work Arrangement

The firm operates on a four-days-per-week in-office model. Employees may choose which day they work remotely and can adjust this arrangement based on situational needs.
