We are looking for an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team, supporting the delivery of high-quality scientific and commercial intelligence to our clients.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong scientific knowledge and a passion for cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic diseases who wants to apply their expertise within a commercial, data-driven environment.

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis across the CVRM landscape.
  • Help translate complex scientific and commercial datasets into clear, actionable insights for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
  • Work will span custom analytics, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and bespoke client projects, with opportunities to engage directly with clients and contribute to the continued development of Airfinity's CVRM analytics.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Produce high-quality intelligence reports and analysis across the CVRM landscape.
  • Research emerging scientific and commercial developments.
  • Track clinical trials, drug candidates, competitor pipelines, launches, and strategic positioning.
  • Support candidate assessment and whitespace/opportunity identification.
  • Contribute to bespoke forecasting and research projects, from planning through to delivery.
  • Turn complex data into compelling insights, visualisations, reports, and presentations.
  • Present research findings and strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop into a trusted scientific partner for clients, bringing strong CVRM knowledge to project discussions.

What We're Looking For

  • A postgraduate degree in a scientific discipline, ideally with a focus on cardiovascular, renal, and/or metabolic disease. A PhD is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Strong scientific research capability and genuine expertise or interest within the CVRM disease landscape.
  • Ideally, experience within pharmaceutical forecasting, competitive intelligence, consulting, or client-facing analytical work.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex scientific information into commercially relevant insights.
  • Experience with data visualisation, dashboards, and storytelling.
  • An interest in using AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and insight generation.
  • Experience with R, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools would be beneficial.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
