Job Description

We are seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support and improve critical business operations across Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Billing, and Data teams. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Salesforce order and merchant data, supporting downstream billing processes, improving operational workflows, and driving scalable business process improvements. The role may also support broader business operations, governance, reporting, and priority initiatives across Visa Direct, as required.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with cross-functional teams to improve sales processes, pricing controls, data quality, and revenue operations. This individual will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and operational teams to ensure accurate order management, efficient processes, and strong alignment across systems. This role offers broad exposure across business operations, governance, reporting, analytics, process improvement, and priority initiatives within Visa Direct.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Salesforce order maintenance activities, ensuring that client merchant records, sales order items, pricing structures, and related data are accurate and complete for downstream billing and revenue processes.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Billing, Data, and other operational teams to validate deal structures, pricing accuracy, and system controls.
  • Support the Global Visa Direct BPO Head and designated team members with the timely preparation of required materials, coordination of key deliverables, execution of assigned business priorities, follow-through on agreed actions and effective response to time-sensitive business requests. Maintain visibility into decisions, owners, milestones, risks, and dependencies and proactively raise issues that may impact delivery. Provide analytical, operational, reporting, coordination, and project support across evolving business priorities as required.
  • Monitor sales and marketing data to identify trends, reporting gaps, process breakdowns, and data quality issues that may impact business performance or operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes and partner with management to scope, prioritize, and execute operational improvement projects.
  • Create, document, and drive adoption of new business and system processes that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance data integrity.
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison across Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Data, operational teams, and other business stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration.
  • Support the development and implementation of scalable controls across business systems to ensure pricing validity, order accuracy, and billing readiness.
  • Analyze operational workflows and recommend forward-thinking solutions that improve sales processes, support accurate revenue recognition, and reduce operational risk.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, assess process impacts, and support change management for new tools, workflows, and system enhancements.
  • Prepare insights, reporting, and recommendations for leadership to support business decisions and operational improvements.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement through process simplification, automation, AI-enabled productivity, and reporting modernization.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
