Analyst Developer

Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, hybrid working with three days per week in our London office

About Us

Praetorian Connections Ltd (PCL) is a leading provider of language-enabled Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), supporting geopolitical, security, and risk-focused decision making. We deliver high-quality OSINT reports and intelligence analysis across countries, regions, and thematic areas. With a team of around 150 talented professionals, we have grown year-on-year to become a trusted partner for clients seeking clarity and confidence in a complex global landscape.

As we continue to expand, we’re now seeking an Analyst Developer to join our growing development team. This is a superb opportunity to be at the forefront of OSINT development, and to shape and lead the development of new capabilities.

The Role

The Analyst Developer is responsible for building and maintaining software platforms that support OSINT data collection, processing, analysis, and visualisation.

The role involves working with senior developers to support and deliver business initiatives, gain practical experience with modern development practices, and contribute to continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on development across both backend and frontend components, contributing to the creation of internal tools and platforms used by analysts and intelligence teams in the collection, processing, and production of high impact intelligence reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
