Job Description

The Forecasting Analyst II role is responsible for supporting the build-out and maintenance of high-quality patient-based forecasts across a range of diseases, with direction and input from the Therapy Area Director and Forecasting Director. They also require excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, keeping key stakeholders updated on progress. In addition to core forecasting responsibilities, these analysts will support the wider commercial content teams with data collection and ad hoc financial data/commentary requests.

This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports. While the Forecasting Analyst will need to be able to work independently, projects will be completed in collaboration with analysts and epidemiologists, such that the ability to work within a team and communicate efficiently is essential.

Content Production

  • Build-out and maintain patient-based forecasts, in collaboration with therapy area analysts, utilizing high attention to detail to ensure models are client-ready
  • Learn from previous projects and utilize problem solving skills to actively solve model issues and work towards developing models that are error-free
  • Utilize excellent secondary (internet) and AI research skills to collate and cross-reference high-quality and defendable data for patient-based forecast models
  • Consistently select most appropriate source of information and ensure sources used are referenced with sources documented and saved
  • Collect financial data for specific companies and drugs in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector
  • Contribute data/commentary to wider commercial content team, including Insights, on an ad hoc basis
  • Continue to expand general knowledge of therapy area space and best practice forecasting methodology, as well as key trends impacting the pharmaceutical industry

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
