Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst Manager to lead within the banking technology analyst function. As Business Analyst Manager, you will shape and lead the Bank Technology Analyst function, building capability and driving excellence in requirements management, solution assurance, and business analysis practices.
This is a hybrid role, working 2 days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst Manager
- Lead, coach, and develop the Bank Technology Analyst function
- Define and embed analysis standards, methods, and quality controls across the technology portfolio
- Elicit, analyse, and assure business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements
- Provide assurance and challenge of solution designs, requirements, and third-party deliverables
- Ensure requirements, solutions, and testing remain aligned to agreed business outcomes
- Represent the Analyst function within delivery and governance forums, providing expert advice and recommendations
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and the adoption of AI-enabled analysis capabilities

Key Experience for the Business Analyst Manager
- Experience leading, coaching, or developing Business Analysts and/or Systems Analysts
- Strong experience gathering, analysing, and assuring business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements
- Experience within working with and communicating with third parties, ensuring assurance around deliverables
- Passionate about improving how technology solutions are designed, assured, and delivered
- Confidence reviewing and challenging solution designs and third-party supplier deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with business outcomes
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams, and external partners
- Strong understanding of requirements traceability, governance, and quality assurance practices
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive, collaborative, and continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
