Description
Our investment team is seeking to hire an analyst to support our private credit practice. Our private credit franchise centers around investing in specialized collateral-backed loans as well as opportunistic credit which we believe offers a differentiated risk-return profile vis-a-vis traditional private credit. Examples of credit areas in which our team has invested in recent years include transitional commercial real estate loans, specialty asset-backed loans, secondary purchases of corporate credit, and investments in special situations. We have adopted a flexible implementation approach to executing our strategy, which includes direct origination as well as origination via joint ventures and select investments in private credit funds. In total, private credit represents close to $2 billion of our total AUM and remains a key growth area of the firm, and we expect to deploy close to $500 million annually into a variety of private credit opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
