Analyst, Private Credit (1-2 Years' Experience)
Location: London
We have been retained by a leading global private credit investment platform seeking to hire Analysts into its London-based Direct Lending team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing platform with a strong track record across European mid-market transactions, offering meaningful exposure to live deals, underwriting, and portfolio management from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed credit analysis, including review of investment materials, financials, and third-party due diligence
- Build and maintain financial models from scratch (including LBO and credit models) to support underwriting decisions
- Support transaction execution, including deal screening, structuring, and preparation of investment committee materials
- Analyse capital structures, legal terms, and documentation
- Assist with ongoing portfolio monitoring and risk assessment
- Contribute to origination efforts and market mapping

Key Requirements:
- 1-2 years' experience within Leveraged Finance, Investment Banking, or Private Credit
- Strong grounding in credit analysis, underwriting, and credit risk
- Proven ability to build financial models independently from first principles
- Exposure to leveraged transactions, including loans, high yield, or private debt
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial judgement
- A European language is advantageous
- Clear interest in private credit / direct lending
